Bailey took my vague ideas (woodsy, green, ivory, autumn) and created absolutely lovely bouquets, boutonnieres and arrangements! She's committed to fighting the abuse of workers in the floral industry and gives you a 'green' discount if you choose to use all locally-sourced, organic blooms. She's extremely flexible and easygoing, and happily did all the arranging in my parents' garage the day before the wedding (the wedding was held at their home). Her pricing is affordable - no bajillion dollar bouquets here!
Not only can you feel good about supporting an ethical, local business with top-notch business practices, you can set yourself at ease knowing you're going to get beautiful, artistic floral pieces at a fair price and be able to work with a friendly, relaxed and flexible vendor at the same time. "Bailey is our local botanical hero. We (husband and I, not the royal "we"), just had our wedding in September. Bailey fielded a bunch of all-over-the-place newbie floral questions, met with us months before the big day to discuss options and soothe our nerves, and collected/transported our lovely bouquets and arrangements an hour and a half away from Portland. She even foraged flowers from my own backyard to integrate into our flowerwonderland.
I'm an environmental planner and so were a bunch of our wedding guests, and we all wholeheartedly appreciated Bailey's attention to the natural landscape, using local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible.
