These rules are designed to ensure safety and the enjoyment of all who use this facility. Please use courtesy and common sense when handling firearms.

1: Photo identification or a membership card must be left at the desk when a shooter signs in. It will be returned upon settlement of all charges.

2: Patrons who have not shot before must take a private lesson or a certification class.

3: Points may not be shared.

4: Transport of handguns from other states is illegal. Out-of-state patrons may not use their own handguns unless they have a valid Connecticut Handgun Carry Permit.

5: Gun rentals are permitted at the sole discretion of the management.

6: All firearms must be unloaded with the action open unless on the firing line.

7: No gun handling, loading, unloading or cleaning in the lounge.

8: Treat all firearms as loaded, point in a safe direction and never leave unattended. Firearms are the USER'S personal responsibility and liability.

9: When firing, guns must point downrange only. Never point at ceiling, floor, or walls.

10: No drawing from holsters or rapid fire permitted.

11: Eye and ear protection must be worn in the firing area at all times.

12: No one is allowed forward of the firing line.

13: All shell casings on the ground are the property of Shooting Sports Ltd. and no shell picking is allowed.

14: Gun jams, misfires or any malfunction requiring assistance - leave the gun at the firing point with the muzzle pointed down-range and ask the range officer for assistance.

15: Only authorized firearms and ammunition may be used. Only handgun caliber rifles may be used. Rifle caliber handguns and black powder are not permitted. Rifles may be used with prior notification. No steel shot or copper BBs. Fully automatic weapons of handgun caliber may be used by MEMBERS ONLY, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

16: Only approved paper targets may be used in this facility. No paper plates, cardboard or other materials may be used unless specifically approved by the range officer.

17: No private shooting instruction and/or certification for pistol permits, blue cards or hunting licenses may be given by anyone not authorized by Forest & Field Outdoor Specialties, Inc. Anyone determined to violate this rule will be immediately asked to leave along with their student(s). Shooting privileges will be terminated indefinitely. Membership, if applicable, will be revoked.

18: Lockers are for MEMBERS ONLY. Members must use the locker assigned to them. We assume no responsibility for items left in lockers. Items are left at your own risk. Any items, including firearms, found in unassigned lockers will be confiscated and become the property of Shooting Sports Ltd. or Forest & Field Outdoor Specialties, Inc.

19: For safety reasons, NO CHILDREN MAY BE LEFT UNATTENDED! PATRONS WHO LEAVE THEIR CHILDREN UNATTENDED WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO MAKE EXCEPTIONS.

20: Anyone believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not use this facility.

21: Anyone believed to be unsafe will be asked to leave. Damage to property caused by unsafe shooting is the shooter'sresponsibility and will be billed accordingly.

22: Determination of a shooter's competency and permission to shoot is at the sole discretion of the management.

23: Members violating any provision of the range rules and regulations may have their membership revoked by Shooting Sports Limited, effective immediately and without prior notice.
